When I visited with my parents, Gogi Wang in Eastwood was so busy that we had to wait a bit before being seated. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food came out with plenty of side dishes (반찬), including a small Doenjang-jjigae (된장찌개 / soybean paste stew) that was warm and comforting ????????. We ordered: Pork Back-Bone Soup (뼈 해장국) $23 – rich, hearty broth with tender pork bones, perfect comfort food. Spicy Stir-Fried Pork (제육볶음) $23 – flavorful, slightly spicy, and served sizzling hot; great with rice. Both dishes were generous in portion and full of flavor, making it a satisfying meal to share. With a 4.8 Google rating, this spot is definitely recommended , and I’ll be coming back to try other dishes for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Busy Saturday night but we managed to get a table for 4 adults and 3 kids - the staff were super friendly and accommodating (unlike Jeong Dam down the street that was really rude when they saw we had kids). There's a great variety on the menu and we ordered an array of food - bbq meats, army stew and fried chicken - all delicious. The staff come around to check on the bbq meats and the old metal chairs have been replaced to cool cushioned seats that you can open to put your belongings in - very cool! The bbq meat cooking plate was also new. Definitely recommend and will come back again.

I’ll be honest. The meat to be honest is the very basic and nothing special. Just an average taste but the cold noodle? THE BEST IN SYDNEY! I am a cold noodle lover so I’m very happy to find this place The service they provided was a top notch. They assist you to cook the meat and swap the burnt grill before you even ask etc., the male staff with glasses who worked on Friday night he was super friendly, professional and helpful. Great service!!

Absolutely fantastic experience here at Gogi Wang. Everything from the food, staff and atmosphere was on point. Portions were generous, and staff were attentive and incredibly friendly. You can DIY, but the staff will come over often to help out too. Cannot recommend this place enough. Banchan - I've never been served this many banchan options before. 5-6 different banchan, and they gave us 2 sets of it! Sweet spicy KFC - light and crunchy batter, juicy chicken Corn cheese - very cheesy and not as sweet as most, which we prefer. Seafood pancake - big size, crispy outside, soft inside with generous chunks of seafood. Pork kimchi hot pot - $18 if ordering a BBQ set. Good addition to the meal.
